FOOD ADVENTURES: Macaron Tango Cafe Restaurant

UPDATE 2017: they relocated and the old address has been vacated. we have yet to visit because its quite far from the city

Hi there everyone!

i just wanna share to you guys my so called food tour with my husband in the Queen City of the South: Cebu City. Me and my husband have been going to this place since we have been together and im really enjoying it! So anyways since we both love food our recent travel there ended up like having a food tour.
this is the 1st restaurant that i will feature,., i think i have like 4 more after this post..,Thanks to my loving chubby husband for taking me to this places!

Macaron Tango Cafe Restaurant is a small French restaurant in Cebu city. The owner and the chef is a French gentleman and their food is just supreme! (i didnt realized how many dishes we ordered before this post and missed to take photos)  My husband discovered this place since its near a hotel where he was staying at at the time. so when we both flew down to Cebu he decided to take me there for lunch the 1st day we are there.,

they are located at the further end of the building and i hope they have a bigger sign

The photos I here were taken last September 2014 and i didnt realized i will have the time to blog about it haha

they have 4 stars review at Trip Advisor and their food is just DELICIOUS! I LOVE EVERYTHING THAT WE ATE ! we had lasagna(no pic), beef burgunion(no pic), chicken with creamy mushroom sauce, pizza, cheesecake and we also had macarons.

I hope you enjoy the photos!

this is what their resto looks like upon entering you will be greeted by its simplicity and cleanliness! and say hello to their yummy looking cakes!

and macarons too!

I ordered a box of 10 for Php 500
they are so good that you will distinctly differentiate the flavors!
My pick are Blueberry, Dark Chocolate and Caramel!

Lets go to the food!

Chicken with creamy mushroom sauce with baked potato wedges and fresh green salad
Rating 10/10

The chicken is not dry and blends perfectly with the sauce. The sauce is not overly thick and the creaminess is not overwhelming, The salad on the side is refreshing and the vinaigrette is not overpowering, the potatoes are also seasoned to perfection not salty and not bland! Both complements the taste of the chicken dish <3
if i remember it correctly this is just around Php 200

Artichoke, Mushroom and capers pizza
Rating 8/10

Its actually my  husband that ordered this and i was amazed that Artichoke is pretty good with it one of the best pizzas i tried so far! the pizza doe is hand tossed and not overly cooked. its not dry and there is a bit of crunch and chewiness in it! Its also a family sized pizza and if i can remember it correctly it was just around Php 300

Blueberry cheesecake
Rating 10/10

This was the best blue berry cheesecake i have ever had! not too sweet and its just perfect
its like heaven when im eating this! if i can remember it correctly this is just less than Php 100

Once i come back to Cebu i will definitely keep on revisiting this restaurant
(this review is not in anyway sponsored by the restaurant)

LOCATION : Space 5, Centro Arcarde (Former Boulevard) | Capitol Site, Cebu City, Philippines
Its near capitol building and there is a small Jollibee at the corner.

i hope you guys enjoyed this post
expect more food posts today! <3

Xoxo

  3. My sister in law is coming home from Texas early next year and is planning to visit Cebu. I will tell her about Macaron Tango so she can try it with her family. I'm sure her young kids would love the deserts!
