Exercise

It can be hard to find a set time to exercise. But in order to be able to de-stress your life, then it is a good idea to start scheduling in time to do it. We all know that exercise can lift your mood and reduce stress levels, so it does need to be put as more of a priority. If you find hard to fit it in, then make it part of your schedule. Write it in your plan for the day and block the time out. It might just be that it is going for a walk on your lunch break. It might just be that it is a quick thirty-minute jog around the block. Whatever you enjoy doing, and whatever you can fit in, then do it. You’ll feel much better for it, and you’ll find that you sleep better too.

Meditate

Being still and one with yourself can take many forms. It could be that meditation in the traditional sense works for you. For others, it could be taking time out to pray and having ten short minutes to do that kind of thing. You might find that you prefer to do it as part of a yoga class or some yoga at home. Whatever you choose to do, it is great as it forces you to slow down a little and to focus on what you are doing. You can focus on your breathing and let your mind empty. Like exercise, you might find that you need to schedule it in. But it will be worth doing.

Make Plans

Half of the time when you are feeling rushed and stressed is because there feels like a lot to do and you’re not sure when you’ll fit it all in. So when you take the time to write down some plans, it can make a big difference. Then the stress has been moved to the paper in a way. You might also find that unpredictability stresses you out. So it might be worth you looking into the best phone psychics if you are into that kind of thing. It could help with clarity and give some peace of mind. Talking to a friend or partner is a good idea too. When you get your thoughts and feelings out, it does alleviate a burden from you.

Are there any particular ways that you find help you to relax and unwind? It would be interesting to hear what works best for you.

Therese
