Kitchen Utensil Must-Haves

If you have a little spending money saved up, why not treat yourself for Christmas? If you are looking to upgrade your kitchen, here are all the kitchen utensils that you shouldn't be living without!

Non-Stick Pan
If you haven't already got a non-stick pan, where have you been for the last 10 years?! And how have you managed to survive without one? These are crucial nowadays for frying meat or veg, or even just an egg. And they are also a dream to wash up! No more smelly, crusty bits on the bottom of the pan. With one wipe and your mess is nonexistent.

Clip-On Pouring Spout
These are so handy to have in the house. If you have just cooked some pasta, or maybe you have boiled your veg, and you need to drain the water. It's so frustrating trying to pour out the liquid while making sure nothing falls out into the sink. Well, with this nifty contraption there is no such things a 'trying' - only 'succeeding!'
Just clip the spout onto the side of your pan, and pour away!

Onion Holder
If you are one of the very many people that find cutting up an onion to be an absolute nightmare - no need to worry anymore. The ideal creation has been made. This looks like a cross between a giant fork and a comb. You just push it into the onion, and it holds it in place. All you have to do is cut where the gaps are, once that's done, you will have a perfectly sliced onion ready to fry.

Knife Block And Set
Every kitchen needs a knife that cuts, slices and chops, without even having to add pressure to it, not only will it make life easier and save you half the time - your food will be better because it will be cut up properly and accurately. There are many styles and makes of knives out there, which all have their own purpose. You should definitely visit this page if you want more information about the knives you need.

Once you have your trusty knives, you will need somewhere to put them. If you just throw them in the drawer with everything else, they will not end up lasting as long, so be sure to buy a decent knife block to keep them safe and secure.

Knife Sharpener
You can't have knives without a sharpener. Anyone can sharpen their own knife - you don't have to be a pro. It will have instructions on the packaging explaining how to use it properly. (Instructions will vary depending on the type of sharpener you have.) But the process normally involves you gliding the blade up and down the tool on either side.

Fresh Herb Grinder
This a very sophisticated way to grind up your fresh herbs. Just put them inside and grind them up, as if you were using a pepper mill. It's so simple but looks super fancy. It's a great way to impress your guests.

These are just some of my kitchen must-haves. Whats your favorite kitchen utensil? Comment down below!

Therese
