A Beginner's Guide to a Bread Machine (and recipe!)

If you like to make bread at home, then you should consider investing in a bread machine. They’re so easy to use, and will save you lots of time! If you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry! Here’s a step by step guide of why you should get one, and how to use them.

Not only are bread machines easy to put together. But they are too quick tidy up and require less kneading. These are just some of the reasons bread machines are so much better than making bread by hand. Bread machines also have timers, and bread rises higher. Most of all, they don't require a lot of work (i.e. no need to change blades or blending speeds).

For this recipe, you'll need a bread machine. Never used one before? I couldn't recommend them more. If you're thinking of buying one, you can find a list of where to buy a top rated bread machine online.

Select Dough Cycle and begin. Raise top and check mixture after around 5-10 minutes. Include flour one tablespoon at once, if fundamental, until mixture achieves the right consistency.
It should form a ball that sticks to the side of the dish, then pulls away. If mixture sticks to the side of the dish, add warm water one tablespoon at once.

  • 7 ounces water
  • ½ container sweetened consolidated milk
  • One teaspoon salt
  • One tablespoon spread
  • 3 cups(+) bread flour
  • Two teaspoons active yeast

Add ingredients to bread machines altogether in the order listed. Begin with three mugs flour.
Select Dough Cycle and begin. Raise top and check mixture after around 5-10 minutes. Include flour one tablespoon at once, if fundamental, until mixture achieves the right consistency. It ought to form a ball that sticks to the side of the dish, then pulls away. If the dough sticks to the side of the dish, add warm water one tablespoon at once.

Take the dough from container toward the end of the cycle and place on a softly floured board. Work the dough into a rectangle and move to dish. Let rest till batter is 1 inch above top edge of the dish in the center.

Prepare the oven at 375f for 35-45 minutes. Place foil over bread part of the way through. Cool, 15 minutes before ending up cooling completely. No less than two hours before, cut up so the bread will hold its shape without squishing with the weight of a blade.
