Why We Love Planet Grapes

Planet Grapes is one of the restos that me and my husband love to dine in whenever we have the time in the Philippines. Being a meat lover this place just really hits the spot for both of us. They have great food and very nice ambiance in their locations (we already visited Ortigas and also Cebu)

We are so happy that they opened a branch in Ayala Terraces Cebu since we are frequent visitors of the mall whenever we are down south.

Here are the things that we already tried.

1. The Chorizo Burger! Well I must say that we always order this. Its a staple with the visits we had in the past and i cant wait to come back! My husband is an american and he knows what a burger should be. We tried this and to our amazement it was so juicy and tasty. The patty is not dry or tough. It was perfectly cooked. The buns are soft and it was not overly seasoned. You can really taste it being CHORIZO! The egg is how it should be and it complements the patty really well. The only thing that he doest want is the fries (i like it, he doesnt) he prefers fast food fries more.

2. Grilled Mushroom and Chorizo Alfredo - I love pasta and I must say that i actually love this thing! They are not stingy with the chorizo slices and its very tasty.

3. Grilled Pork Chop - Big Chunk of Pork! Its not tough and its cooked well. We selected the mash potato to go with it. Its good? Yes Its not like gonna take you over the moon buts its really good, tender and juicy.

4. Choco Collision - This is a chocolate lovers dream! Its like a lava cake but way better! Its sweet and chocolaty. We finished this thing so fast that taking a photo is not even an option. Its one of their best desserts in the menu.

5. Turon Trilogy- This is a personal favorite of mine since I'm not really a super chocolate person. Turon is basically banana wrapped in a big dumpling wrapper and deep fried. This one is way up there and it's so good! It has sweetened jack fruit , a sweet banana and creamy taro (ube) sauce. My husband also love this! Its definitely a must try! The best turon i had in my life.

They actually have quite a lot of options from breakfast, lunch and dinner options. They also have wine pairing suggestions and me and my husband will try that for our next visit. Also the staff are nice and attentive. The place is very clean. Im still not a fan of the high chair and we always seat at the booths.

This is a must visit restaurant that i will definitely recommend over and over again. The cost that you are paying for is very reasonable for the quality of the food and service you will get. THE FOOD IS CONSISTENT. It always taste the same whenever we order it.
