#YouBlogYou Tag Volume 1

I don't do this often but why not? Im participating on the #YouBlogYou Tag and I hope you learn more about me and why I do what I do and what my views about blogging are. Comments and Violent Reactions are very much appreciated<3

 #YouBlogYou Tag Volume 1

  1. What inspired you to blog?
I love arts and crafts and some of the things I make aren’t available online so I decided to post the things I love making and share it to others as well.
  1. When did you start blogging?
I started blogging June 2013 and I have been blogging whenever I have the time off from work. Now I’m married I try to post at least 3 times a week.
  1. What's the topic you enjoy blogging the most?
I love arts, crafts and DIY’s there are just something that appeals to me when it comes to that topic. I also like food and travel.
  1. How long does it usually take you to finish a blog post?
It varies from time to time. Depending on a topic it might take at least 2 hours (with idle time of course) for DIY especially if im trying to make a tutorial it can take weeks.
  1. If you were to name three (3) goals you want your blog to achieve next year, what would it be?
  • I would like to have a steady schedule for my blog posts
  • Have a lot more reach for my posts and social media
  • I would like to have a community of crafters that share their works on my blog for everyone to enjoy and try as well.

  1. Does your family know about your blogging career? Why or why not?
Yes my family knows and they are really supportive about it. Well for me since I easily get bored and I bug them a lot they think by writing online will help me lessen my idle time and be productive and since I like talking why not bring it online. Another factor is that me and my mom share the same passion in making things and she thinks that by sharing it online is a great idea.
  1. Which blog or blogger inspires you the most?
I’m not really sure since I don’t really read so much online. Since I have doing crafts for a long time I find it a lot more inspiring browsing at magazines and crafting websites (picture browsing). It gives me a lot more inspiration than anyone else.
  1. What is the greatest achievement your blog has received? If you haven't got any, what would be the achievement you'd want to receive?
Well Im not really aiming for any awards for my blog. I would just like to be recognized as a crafting site with lots to offer. I believe that no one can put a price value on my blog except for me. :)
  1. What is your best viewed post? Share it with us by providing a hyperlink and a short description about it.
For the all-time high it’s the Feng Shui Posts but at the current month I have a blog giveaway that is still gaining a lot of views. You can also join by checking the link HERE
  1. If you were to give out three (3) advises for newbie bloggers, what would it be?
  • Great Content will always make the readers come back to your site. Freebies are just a bonus but blogging is more like a labor of love. It’s something you do because you like doing it and not just a mere way to get invited to events and get free things.
  • Write what you love- Focus on things that you like most. If you write about things that you love personally, it can be felt by readers.
  • Be Professional at all times- weather online or offline you should know that people will or will not like you. Be nice to everyone even if they aren't so nice to you. Its much better to keep our peace.

  1. If you were to give out three (3) advises for yourself as a blogger, what would it be?
  • Don’t let anyone pull you down and be cautious- if you feel like someone is stepping on you or wants to use you for their own gain drop them. Not everyone that you meet is nice in this industry (I have met a few genuine ones) and it’s like a take it or leave it thing for me. There are people who will spread negative comments etc. but just let them. As long as you know you are doing the right thing and not hurting anyone keep your ground. You don’t need to prove yourself to anyone anyway so why bother answering the gossips right? (Learn from experience, Let it goooooo)
  • Think before you speak- It’s so basic. I know that I am the embodiment of my blog and I know that I will be the only reason to blame if my blog fails. And I will not let that happen.
  • Keep blogging life separate from personal life- Blogging acquaintances are separate from home boys. If you don’t ask me, I will not answer. If I’m comfortable with you then I might answer. Keeping my private life away from the light is really paying off!

Well I that's it for now. I will definitely do some more of this things soon!

Have a great day to all

Therese
